Club Mo Fo
One of the most fun shows we’ve done in a while was at Club Motherf*cker last week. Then we flew out to play Sonar, which were also a rare laugh and just as boilo.

Much to the dismay of the students and staff – both past and present, my old art school is finally being knocked down. For the last hurrah and as a final good bye, I was invited back to paint a memorial piece above the foyer. Not being much of a conceptual artist, I decided to keep the sentiment simple. It’s the thought that counts…
I designed this frontage for a Sheffield dentist practice recently. It’s down by the quays and depicts a couple of warrior women inside a giant’s mouth, sailing towards his uvula. Toby Foster thought it was ‘fairly abstract’. I said “You reckon?”
Serie B asked me to pick 6 of my favourite items in my lounge and write a little something about them for their current issue. I chose: my 2 Pac door stop, the set of Russian Dolls I picked up in Azerbaijan (complete with Bin Laden and mini Hitler), the Beastmaster poster, Dictionary of English Folklore, can of Hycote Applejack and a book on Totem poles. I’ve no idea what the text says, but by the looks of it, my Spanish is pretty good these days.
Whatevs, chill out granddad. Here’s the new series of boards I designed for Unabomber in the UK. You can also see one of their riders, Ben Grove dancing like it’s the Hacienda’s last night in my Eddy Fresh video. He’s the one in the blue jacket. Word.
These were limited to a run of 50 boys and 50 girls and sold out by the time I’d got the photos together. I’ll be printing some more designs over the Summer so keep ’em peeled.
Check out Buddy Esquire over here. Aside from a UK tour with The Long Blondes, we’re also doing a couple of DIY gigs so I’ve gone and drawn some flyers ain’t I?
