Wonder Woman – Layered Sketches
I usually draw the same character multiple times until I’m happy with the proportions. I trace each version over the top of the last using the lightbox and make notes for myself about various features, perspectives and nuances. The final version tends to include a few elements from the earlier drawings cut back in using layers in photoshop. I put this quick gif together as a way of showing the subtle changes of a recent illustration I’ve been working on. I’ll post the finished composition next.
