Here’s some archive 35mm photos of the artwork I created for Wellgosh back in 2001. In celebration of their 30th anniversary, this Leicester institution has teamed up with another long term collaborator, Universal Works to create a super tight capsule collection. I made this piece while reflecting on the general air of discouragement many of us experienced growing up in a Working Class environment. For me, this mindset is perfectly encapsulated in Micky Flanigan’s hilarious “You Dreamer Hutton” stand up routine.
Anyhow, shout out to anyone who turned a deaf ear to the naysayers and chose to follow their passion in life. More power to your elbow!
