Not only did award winning brewery, Thornbridge provide the bar for my exhibition launch, they’ve also created an exclusive Vienna-style lager to accompany it.
Kill Your Darlings (the drinkable version) is available from a select number of pubs for the duration of the show and is really rather tasty.
I designed the labels and beer mats, which also double up as flyers for the exhibition. Cheers.
The launch night for Kill Your Darlings was crackers. Big shout to everyone who showed up, especially those who travelled further than a South Yorks postcode to be there. It was an overwhelming turnout and a perfect start to the Tramlines weekend. Big Aye Aye to Thornbridge for hooking up the bar and to Heebie Jeebies, Death Rays, Asbo-A-GoGo, Benjamin Hatton and Slick Disco Dixxx for supplying the music. And thanks to EVERYONE who helped put the show together. Big up thy sen.

Steel City’s finest, Toddla T has a new album out on Ninja Tune called Watch Me Dance. I recommend you cop that. Alongside Drop Dead, the Designers Republic, Rob Barber and the rest of the Sheffield graphics/illustration fraternity, I was asked to design a couple of Toddla T-shirts to help illustrate the tracks on the album. I chose BODY GOOD Feat. Timberlee and HOW BEAUTIFUL IT WOULD BE Feat. Passo Wasso & Ms Dynamite.
Layout and concept by the Scoob and Scrap Lover’s of graphic design, Peter & Paul.
I also collaborated with young buck, Danny Beck on the new logo. Standard.
