Straight Outta Brompton

I was recently asked to provide an illustration for Brompton‘s first ever cycling jacket. After visiting the factory I became intrigued by the name and heritage of the company so went to have a look at the Brompton Oratory for inspiration. The Oratory was the view founder, Andrew Ritchie had from his bedroom as he developed the original prototypes in the mid-70s, which is where the name comes from. The Oratory Jacket is both functional and dapper. Details of my illustration can be found on the reflective pop-up storm collar and bamboo fabric lining. Nifty.
